Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using Cerebro ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

Cerebro is an AI-powered second brain app that allows you to capture thoughts, which are then processed by artificial intelligence to extract action items, build semantic connections, maintain an evolving memory of your patterns, and resurface relevant thoughts at the right time.

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Cerebro.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You may sign in using Google or Apple authentication. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms.
• One account per person. You may not create multiple accounts or share your account with others.

• Cerebro offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription (monthly or annual).
• Pro subscriptions may include a free trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged automatically.
• Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Cancellation, refunds, and billing inquiries are handled by the respective app store.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect.

• Ownership: You retain full ownership of all content you create in Cerebro, including entries, thoughts, and any text you write.
• License to us: By using the app, you grant us a limited license to process your content through AI services solely for the purpose of providing app functionality (extracting todos, building connections, generating your memory document, and creating search embeddings).
• AI-generated content:Todos, memory documents, connections, and resurface suggestions are generated by AI based on your entries. These outputs are provided "as is" and should not be relied upon as professional advice.

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's infrastructure
• Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the app
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data

• Your entries are processed by third-party AI services (Google Gemini and OpenAI) to provide core app functionality.
• AI outputs (todos, memory, connections, resurface suggestions) are automated and may not always be accurate. You should review AI-generated content before acting on it.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content.

• Cerebro may send push notifications to resurface relevant thoughts. Notifications are limited to 2 per day and respect quiet hours (10 PM — 8 AM in your timezone).
• You can opt out of notifications at any time through the app or your device settings.

• Cerebro is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
• AI-generated content is not a substitute for professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or otherwise).

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cerebro and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.

• You may stop using Cerebro at any time and request deletion of your account and data.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify you of material changes through the app or our website.
